Evangelical & Unexpected Joy

God is doing a thing in the African-American (AA) community. The way God is drawing AAs to the Truth of the Gospel in this racially charged time will never result in the majority coming to faith because narrow is the way. Nonetheless, my heart delights as I witness more and more AAs from all walks of life embracing the Light and speaking Gospel Truth boldly and unapologetically.

If you demurred from Charlie Kirk’s ministry, it only shows your real nature, which would be one without Jesus Christ as the Lord & Savior of your life. Of that bold assertion, I write with near theological certitude.

I challenge anyone to please provide one clip or piece of evidence in which Charlie Kirk does not speak in a manner consistent with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I have either seen the alleged clips or seen Charlie give a well-reasoned and cogent defense to all of his purported racist musings. I have not seen any credible acts of malfeasance, and I would submit that any fair-minded person seeking to be fair would arrive at the same conclusion.

I must be frank because I always owe you the truth: You are either too prejudiced [I initially chose the wrong, stupid, but thought the better of it] or too intellectually lazy because I have seen video after video where Charlie explains each of his supposed racial statements.

When viewed with the intent of giving the other person, even and especially your opponent, the same benefit of the doubt and assuming the best of others that you would hope for, you are allowing Satan to play you like a fool when you accuse Charlie Kirk of hate speech.

Charlie never said anything derogatory towards Black pilots, as one example that many are peddling as racism. They are allowing Satan to interject racial discourse because that is what Satan does, and they are following their leader.

I might add that the Supreme Court has ruled correctly, in my opinion, that you cannot make decisions primarily based on a person’s skin pigmentation.

Charlie gave the example of one airline seeking to hire 40% of their new hires based on demographic minorities. That is wrong on many levels. I do not want a diversified pilot community. When I fly, the only pilot I want is a supremely qualified one.

If the pilot flying my plane turns out to be an AA, that's fine by me. The same goes for a heart surgeon. I do not want the surgeon working on my heart selected based on diversity; I want the surgeon based on meritocracy.

The AA community, we have lost our way. The data concerning all the major social capital markers (education, crime, income, etc, etc) shows it, so we want to find a scapegoat, so when a person of Non-Color DARES to speak the truth, far too many in the AA community take comfort in his political assassination.

That sickening truth reveals the real you.

No Black fathers in the home, and you say NOTHING, that is the real you.

What can make a man not live up to his responsibilities? The Word of God says that person is worse than an infidel. Too many AAs respect a George Floyd more than a Jason Riley or a Thomas Sowell, or a Larry Elder.

AA males who make up less than 7% of the US population yet comprise over 60% of the murders in America, and you say NOTHING. The most dangerous entity in America is the AA male. That just grieves my heart to no end because I am an AA male. My only son is an AA male. My five-year-old grandson is an AA male.

There is a murder problem in American cities, and it is not the white man creating bloodshed and mayhem in the AA community. It is people who look like me. Charlie spoke truth to power, and instead of acknowledging the obvious, many AAs made Charlie the scapegoat when the problem was internal to our own community.

AA females make up less than 7% of the US population, but comprise over 40% of the abortions in America, and you say NOTHING, all the while millions of black & brown babies are murdered BY CHOICE by the very people God ordained to bring them into the world.

Instead of grieving and repenting, you double down and support the Democratic Party with over 80% of the AA vote. You do so, foolishly believing you can do so as a faithful Christ-follower. Like such an association is a legitimate option that a Christian can take, and I am here to tell you, to warn you, that clearly you have never taken the Word of God seriously. If you did, you would flee the Democratic Party without delay as eternity literally hangs in the balance.

There is no way a person who actually reads and studies God’s Word could or would have any association with abortion or same-sex marriage. Yet, watch the next election cycle and see where the AA vote goes.

I draw my comfort from the reality that God will not be mocked. He keeps exquisite and meticulous notes, and His judgment will be swift and severe, and you will have no one to blame but you.

This generation has access to tools for proper Bible interpretation that were never available to any previous generation. Yet, despite these aids, we actually have the most biblically illiterate generation since the Church began on the Day of Pentecost.

AAs, by and large, attend Churches that are nothing more than Democratic Party political rallies disguised as worship. Nothing set Jesus Christ off more than people who made His Father’s house a den of thieves.

Unless and until you repent, God’s Wrath hangs over you. I know my mere words will not likely have the desired effect because you immediately dismiss me. After all, you see me as the sell-out, as nothing more than an Uncle Tom, as one of my fraternity brothers, whom I knew personally and regarded as a friend, chose to classify me as a coon, simply because I put my faith in Jesus Christ first and foremost, even as a fellow fraternity member was running for public office.

God has shown me that I will best spend my time rejoicing over the faithful remnant in the AA community that God is graciously choosing to snatch from the darkness instead of lamenting over the mass of AAs who cling to the darkness and fight vociferously to adhere to its destructive lure.

The murder of Charlie Kirk will be one of history’s watershed and defining moments, and I am proud to have lived in the same generation as his all too short but impactful time here on Planet Earth.

The enemy will never be able to undo Charlie's positive impact on the Kingdom of God. None of this makes Charlie Kirk perfect, as Christians readily realize and confess that no person has ever walked this Earth outside of Jesus Christ, has ever spoken infallibly. Still, the one thing Charlie Kirk did supremely well was talk with Gospel conviction.

You could not ask for anything more. Charlie Kirk, in a mere thirty-one years of human existence, made an impact that will be hard to match, and the only people mad are Satan and those of his kingdom.

Christ-followers are to be generally joyful people. Yes, there will be times of righteous indignation, grief, and sorrow, but our normal orientation should be towards joy and peace.

I lay my head down tonight after a glorious day of worship with that joy and peace. In the same week that Charlie Kirk was murdered under the orders of Satan, God is using this human tragedy to draw so many people to Himself that would otherwise still remain in the grips of Satan’s lore.

For that, I am, like C. S. Lewis wrote, Surprised by Joy!

As usual, let me know what you think. Until then, keep your hands to the plow and seek to Serve for Audience of One.

With fear & trembling,

Ricky V Kyles Sr DEd.Min
