Evangelicals & Trusting the Government

When one lives under the sway of the Evil One, one sees what we see so ubitiquously in our public discourse.

An illegal immigrant enters our country, engages in human trafficking, commits repeated violent offenses, including multiple assaults against his own spouse, and you will hear repeated calls of his defense from those bound by Lucifer.

If America is not under the direct judgment of Almighty God, then I would hate to see the state of America when it would be.

We care more about the treatment of people who are expressly committing murdererous and malicious intent against the best wishes of America than we do about the countless lives taken as a direct result of their debauchery.

The Left cries about actions taken by the Trump administration when the Trump administration is simply continuing the policies enacted by the Obama administration.

Former President Joe Biden explicitly called for the very actions taken by the Trump administration, and many of you fall right in line with the Democratic GroupThink.

I bend the knee to Holy Writ, and there it provides clear guidance on how one is to understand the role of human government, even a government that has lied repeatedly in the past and will continue to do so as we live in a fallen world.

When the benefit is ever in doubt, I will always give it to the human government. Just as my parents would when I alleged my teacher was lying, when they said, “Little Ricky was behaving in class.”

Of course, my teacher could have been lying, but my parents would never have believed it. I raised my children the same way, knowing teachers can lie, but I always give authority the benefit of the doubt.

We do so because there is an innate nature to trust authority, because they derive their authority from Almighty God.

You want peace and security. Do what is right, and you will have no reason to fear the government.
