Evangelicals & Purpose

Let us never forget our WHY. We can easily desire to do great and noble things, but if we are not settled in our WHY, we can become discouraged along the way because life is hard and full of fits and starts.

Very rarely is the trajectory one of constant ascent. That is for fairy tales and wishful thinking; instead, since the Fall, man will only secure food by the sweat of his brow. Women will be blessed to introduce life into existence only through laborious travail.

Thus, by God’s inscrutable design, life is very different from His original design. That is why I experience grief every time I witness people referring to them as “living their best life.”

In fact, someone shared that wholly sub-biblical sentiment with me just this past Lord’s Day. Anyone believing they are living anywhere close to the their best life is nowhere approximating the tenor of the Holy Writ.

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.

1 Cor 2:9

So, knowing that my best days await the eschaton I will continue to strive to do what I do best: shining light where darkness permeates!

I will do so , not with any foolish vanity of winning an argument or showing people the little knowledge I possess. I do so because people I know and deeply love are on a direct crash course to HELL.

You, whether wittingly or unwittingly, are doing the same if you align with the Democratic Party. Everything always comes back to that. There is no way a genuine Christ-follower, an Evangelical, aligns with abortion, same-sex marriage, or gender fluidity.

While I did not attend an elite institution of learning and am only a simple country boy from Mississippi, I am still bright enough to walk and chew gum at the same time.

So, I will not be deterred by slow progress or no progress. I will stand my post and do what I believe God is calling me to do.

Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Trinity, spoke so convincingly to Tim Tebow that He came to die and that Tim’s life was more than a game of football.

I believe God is speaking to me to remind me that it will never be just about clicks or subscribers, but about my WHY!

My WHY is to warn as many people as I can of the impending wrath of God to come for all those who refuse to Kiss the Son, lest He be angry!

Dear Brother!

Dear Sister!

Please, I plead with you to kiss the son while they is still breathing in your lungs.

With fear & trembling,

Ricky V Kyles Sr. DEd.Min
