In this video, I offer a biblical and theological examination of T.D.'s teaching. Jakes, focusing specifically on doctrine—particularly the doctrine of God.

This is not a critique of personality, style, race, or platform. It is an evaluation of public teaching in light of Scripture and historic Christian orthodoxy.

Because T.D. Jakes has exercised extraordinary influence over millions through sermons, conferences, books, and media. Doctrinal clarity is not optional. Scripture commands believers to test teachers, contend for the faith, and reject error, especially when that error concerns the nature of God Himself.

This presentation addresses:

Why doctrine matters

What Modalism / Oneness theology teaches

Why clarity about the Trinity is non-negotiable

Why “sounding orthodox” is not the same as confessing orthodoxy

Why influence increases accountability

This is not an attempt to judge salvation or motives, I will leave that sensitive matter up to an Almighty and All-Knowing Thrice Holy God.

My analysis is an act of biblical obedience rooted in love for truth, love for the Church, and love for the Gospel.

Because of James’ global reach his heretical view of the Trinity demonstrates his teaching, even if theological correct, is devoid of spiritual power because God never imbibes with heretic teachers.

So, if my thesis is correct, and I most confident it is, then why would the true People of God not sense the lack of God’s presence.

That would only possible if the person in question would not be in-dwelt by the Third Person of the Trinity.

It is well past the time that we not take serious God’s admonition to “study to show thyself approved, a workman needed not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.”

I will take you many are not able to spiritually discern that Jake’s is not to be paid attention to. It is simply because the listener does not have spiritual ears to hear or spiritual eyes to see.

One of my former Pastors, Wes Conner, preached a sermon series titled, Pernicious Preachers. Providentially, that week I had friends in town that weekend and they were, not surprisingly, astonished that Wes included Jake’s’ name.

I would like to mention in passing it should come as no surprise as most AA churchgoers do so as strictly Cultural Christians.

This reality is why I submitted the AA Church as apostasized Writ Large.
