I am sure most, if not all, readers will be familiar with The Boy Who Cried, Wolf. He made so many false claims of mayhem that when actual danger really arose, no one took him seriously, even as vital and swift help was really needed.
People playing the Victim Card is what we see ubitiquously in popular culture, and I detest it because very often the people howling the loudest are at the very top of the economic and social ladder.
We have Michelle Obama lamenting about fearing for her daughter’s safety while they live in the Hamptons.
We have Lebron James making the outrageous claim that he would not feel safe sitting on his porch while living in a mansion in Los Angeles.
In the attached video, we have Sunny Hostin, a lawyer and a host on ABC’s morning talk show The View, lamenting about how Conservatives do not give due consideration to the oppression she and other oppressed groups have endured while living in America.
Well, cry me a friggin river. People would kill to be able to afford a home in the Hamptons or a mansion in Los Angeles. No sane middle-class American should register one ounce of sympathy for any female person of color who sits on a morning talk show as a well-paid host, deriding her plight in life.
I stand with the brother in the attached video all day, errday and twice on Sundays. He courageously rebutted the false claims from Sunny Hostin, one of the hosts on ABC’s morning program, The View.
Mrs. Hostin egregiously attempted to lament about the supposed oppression AAs, the LGBTQ+ community, and illegal immigrants receive, and posits that anyone doing so is not acting Christian-like.
Shockingly, while still brazenly, Hostin counts herself among the victims of oppression in America today. Yet, I would submit that Hostin’s ability to appear on a prominent morning TV show on a legacy broadcast channel demonstrates the preposterous nature of her claim.
I am an AA male, and I would be the first to freely admit I am not oppressed, and when I have challenged other AAs to provide an objective example of their direct oppression, they can never muster one. Nor can they ever recount even one example of someone they have personal, direct knowledge of being oppressed.
I am an Evangelical who seeks to follow all of the laws, both those man-made and definitely the ones from Almighty God.
As a result, while I welcome the foreigner as the Bible commands me to do, I stand in vehement opposition to any immigrant who bucks the system by entering our country illegally and have little to no sympathy as the Trump administration moves aggressively and correctly, I hasten to add, to round them up and deport them.
Yet, all we get from the Left are cries about due process and over-aggression from ICE while never mentioning the violence directed towards ICE agents or the property damage committed by people alleging to be peaceably protesting.
I will forever denounce the LGBTQ community as each letter actively rebels against God, our Creator. You are either for God or against God. If you are for God, then you can never be for SIN. The most loving thing a Christ-follower can do is to call sinners to repentance.
Christ-followers never give any quarter to sinful rebellion, and we do so without apology, compromise, and with no timidity. Never because we are so righteous, but we find delight in God’s Law even as we lament our struggle to keep His Law perfectly. That is one of the chief reasons we cling so passionately to the Cross of Christ, as the Cross is the only vehicle available to us to escape the wrath of a thrice-holy triune God.
God, our Creator, never makes mistakes when He creates them male and female as He soveriegnly decrees, so we deplore those who advocate for gender fluidity as if God is not in perfect control of biological determination from the moment of fertilization.
I submit, with profound fear & trembling, that one is not a true Christian if one aligns and votes politically with any candidate who advocates for
Abortion
Same-Sex
Gender Fluidity
God will not be mocked, and your sin will most certainly find you out.
Repent or Perish TODAY as eternity literally hangs in the balance!
Your choice, but never say you were never warned, especially for those who claim fidelity to and with Jesus Christ.
