Evangelicals & DEI

Editor’s note: I am attaching an article from GotQuestions.org that addresses whether DEI is biblical.
It is so sad that there is so much crass biblical illiteracy in the AA community. A lighter melatonin believer (Charlie Kirk) was adamantly against DEI. For that reason alone, AAs litter my Facebook page, insinuating that I am not a true believer because I have the unmitigated gall to stand boldly with Charlie Kirk.
I am so sad that Charlie was killed, but I am glad to know how people who pretended to be one thing have really shown who they really are. Their god is their race, not Jesus Christ. If their god were Jesus Christ, they would ferociously love the truth, which Charlie Kirk did in spades.
Just today, September 30, 2025, I had a fraternity member come to my Facebook page to demonstrate his crass biblical ignorance, spouting “we [Christ-followers] are not supposed to judge when the Bible NEVER said any such thing.
I had a person who claimed that God called him to preach and lead His people. He attempted to cast aspersions on Charlie and/or me by referencing Proverbs 14 when it applied more to him than anyone else.
Then another AA female professing Christ-follower (who accuses Charlie of not being a true believer) reinforces the ignorance with the reply, “Well stated.”
Later the same evening, I had an another AA professing female believe she was attempting to dialogue with me by telling me how disappointed she was in me for the unspeakable crime of highlighting that Charlie had a far greater impact on the world than the four AA females (Kenjanti Brown, Michelle Obama, Joy Reid, and the late Sheila Jackson) who were being compared in a Facebook meme to Charlie, who dropped out of college.
The meme, more of a troll, was meant to depict the four women’s alleged intellectual superiority over Charlie. However, I submit that Charlie has left a legacy; these four women will never have combined. These four women, if they died today and one already has, are heading to eternal hellfire. That, there can be no doubt. So, this professing AA Christ-follower somehow clings to the four pagan females but not the professing Caucasian believer. I simply have no words for this. It utterly defies comprehension.
Several people came to my post about true Christ-followers standing with Charlie, only to leave laugh emojis. So to Mannis Wesley and Michelle McIntosh, it will not be so funny when you perish and step into eternity. I am not here for your friggin amusement.
If you do not have anything adult to add to the conversation, then please skip my post. Grow the hell up and turn to Christ before you perish. Go play on your own Facebook page if that's what you want to do. I never come to another’s page and leave ridicule. My parents raised me better than that.
I have spent my adult life studying the Word of God. I attended and graduated from Moody Bible Institute for my Master's and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) for my Doctorate, and I hope to obtain my PhD at SBTS. I say this not to promote myself but to assure you that I have done the heavy lifting to learn how to interpret God's Word correctly.
Anyone with an earnest desire would know that God is adamantly against DEI (read attached article). Charlie Kirk knew that, and you hated him for it. Why would you hate someone for speaking God’s truth in the public square?
There can only be one reason. You are not part of the same family that Charlie and I are members of. Because if you were, you would know that Charlie was doing God’s work.
Charlie believed in the American Dream, you know: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. One where you are judged on the content of your character and never on the color of your skin. You know what King said, and that you love to quote, especially in January of every year.
I am so saddened that many of you who fill my Facebook page with ridicule and mockery, only displaying your biblical illiteracy.
You are illiterate because you don't study or sit under sound teaching. You never sought to listen to Voddie Baucham because you were too busy listening to Jamaal Bryant and TD Jakes. You eschew distinguished intellects like Thomas Sowell, Jason Riley, and Carol Swain, but you slurp all Beyoncé and Snoop Dog have to offer
You will deserve everything you get when you step into eternity unless you repent, so I will grieve for you now because when I get to Heaven, I will rejoice in God’s Wrath to punish all those who would not bend the knee.
Charlie got it right before he stepped into eternity. Your chance to get it right is quickly fading.
As usual, let me know what you think. Until then, keep your hands to the plow and seek to serve for an Audience of One.
With fear & trembling,
Ricky Kyles Sr. DEdMing
